Witte kool Roem van Enkhuizen 3 is vooral geschikt voor de productie van zuurkool. Het is een vrij snelgroeiend gewas dat flinke zware kolen vormt, is wel licht barstgevoelig, maar zit weer boordevol mineralen en vitamine B en C. Voorzaaien op potjes en dan uitplanten in een goed bewerkte en licht bemeste grond. Goed vochtig houden en plantjes beschermen tegen koolvlieg d.m.v. anti-insectengaas. Jaarlijks op een andere plaats telen.
