Waterkers Gewone (Nasturtium officinale)
Een overblijvende moerasplant, die algemeen in en aan water (erg zuiver zoet water) voorkomt. De krokante bladeren vormen een goed toekruid bij allerlei salades, als garnering en bij vleesgerechten. De smaak is licht pikant. Dun zaaien in een bak met natte grond, afdekken met folie of glas en goed vochtig houden. Zodra de plantjes verschijnen het plastic of glas verwijderen. Regelmatig water blijven geven. Zorg dat de wortels altijd in ’t water staan. Oogsten als het gewas ca. 20 cm hoog is.
