Een frisgroene botersla met grote kroppen en een goudgeel hart. Schiet niet snel, zoals de Nederlandse naam al aangeeft. Vooral geschikt voor de zomer- en herfstteelt. Kan onder glas (wel ventileren bij warm weer) en vanaf half maart ter plaatse worden gezaaid. Zaaisels in de zomer koel houden. Ruim uitdunnen en bij droog weer voldoende vochtig houden. Sla kan al bij zeer koele temperaturen (> 10ºC) worden gezaaid.
