Dichte hyacintachtige bloemkaarsen in de welbekende mooie kleuren licht en donkerblauw, appelbloesemroze, zalmroze, donker- en lichtroze, Rood en wit. Prachtig staan ze in borders, perken en groepen. Bij voorkeur zaaien in de vollegrond direct ter plaatse. Graag een warm, maar toch regelmatig verfrissend plekje i.v.m. de gevoeligheid voor meeldauw. Denk om de slakken.
