Een niet gesloten kool met kale witte bladstelen, spierwitte bladnerven en donkergroen topblad. Een heerlijke oosterse groente, maar een Hollandse biefstuk met paksoi bloemknoppen is ook niet te versmaden. Kan al binnen 30 dagen na zaai worden geoogst als snijkool (dan niet uitdunnen) en na ca. 65 dagen als volgroeide paksoi. Zorg voor een goede basisbemesting en geef regelmatig water. Schiet niet snel door.
