Een heel bekend, oud en beproefd Italiaans ras uit 1880. Een middellaat soort met een redelijk lang oogsttraject. Is oogstbaar circa 60 dagen na uitplanten. Zaaien bij voorkeur onder glas direct in potjes of eerst op plantbed. Grond vochtig houden. Vervolgens tijdig uitplanten in goed bewerkte/bemeste grond. Jonge plantjes beschermen tegen koolgalmug en koolvlieg d.m.v. anti-insektengaas. Jaarlijks op een andere plaats telen. Oogsten als de bloemknoppen ongeopend zijn.
