Bladcichorei / Groenlof Zuckerhut Zelfsluitende
Zelfsluitende, zware kroppen van ca. 30 cm hoog. Kroppen zijn met omblad bij koele opslag enkele weken te bewaren. Populair bij de amateur-tuinder, omdat het aanzienlijk gemakkelijker te telen is dan witlof. Het lichtgele binnenste van de krop is mild van smaak. Bladcichorei is nauw verwant aan andijvie en witlof en kan zowel rauw als gekookt worden gegeten. Bij voorkeur zaaien tussen half juni en eind juli ter plaatse op een rijafstand van ca. 30 cm. Na opkomst in de rij uitdunnen op circa 15 cm.
