Heel lang werd deze Aster beschouwd als de beste late snijaster. De stelen zijn sterk en dragen met gemak de grote dubbele bloemen. Ook hier weer een groot kleurenscala met vooral de rode en blauwe tinten sterk vertegenwoordigd. Voorzaaien onder glas of zaaien direct in de volle grond. Jaarlijks op een andere plaats zaaien of uitplanten.
