Zonnebloem Avondzon mix (Helianthus)
De welbekende zonnebloem is een eenjarige plant, uit de composietenfamilie, die over het algemeen tot drie meter hoog wordt. De zonnebloem kan meestal gezaaid worden van april tot half juni. Prachtige enkele bloemen met Roodbruine kleurschakeringen. Avondzon blijft wat lager dan de andere variëteiten, maar is desalniettemin een uitstekende snijbloem voor in gemengde bossen. Uitermate geschikt voor achtergrondbeplanting of als solitair. Denk om de slakken. De gedroogde zaden zijn een lekkernij voor de vogels.
