Dekenbloem mix (Kokardebloem of Gaillardia)
De populaire naam dekenbloem is ontstaan omdat de drie meest opvallende kleuren van de Gaillardia’s ook aangetroffen zijn bij Indiaanse dekens. De dekenbloem is afkomstig uit de Amerikaanse vlakten en is goed bestand tegen warmte en droogte. Zaaien onder glas bij niet al te hoge temperaturen. In de zomer zo vroeg mogelijk uitplanten, zodat ze als een stevige plant de winter in gaan.
