Droogboon Cannellino (soepboon)
Een klassieke Italiaanse witte boon, die vrij groot wordt en erg goed van smaak is. Heerlijk in de zo bekende minestrone soep. Kan indien gedopt, zowel vers als gedroogd, worden gebruikt. Het is een stamboon, dus ondersteuning is niet nodig. Bonen houden van warmte. Teveel wind en vooral nachtvorst zijn zeer schadelijk. Zaaien ná half mei in de vollegrond. Rijafstand ca. 40 cm met om de 10 cm een boon. De geoogste peulen op het veld laten drogen en vervolgens doppen. De peulen zelf zijn niet eetbaar.
