Citroengras Citronella
Een tropische grassoort met een voortreffelijke citroengeur en -smaak. Opkweken in warme kas of als potcultuur binnenshuis (hoge kiemtemperatuur). Wordt in een pot wat lager. Vers en gedroogd vormen de bladeren een keukenkruid, dat gebruikt wordt bij allerlei gerechten. Het speelt ook een belangrijke rol in de Indonesische keuken. Thee van de (gedroogde) bladeren wordt beschouwd als gezond en verfrissend.
